Help Us
Adult victims of childhood sexual abuse need your help. Here are some ways you can help:
-
Follow us on social. Help us spread the word to help identify victims, help victims seek justice, and put pressure on states to pass Statute of Limitations / "look-back" laws so adult victims have a path forward to fight back.
-
Help us find new cases to publicize. Let us know of any egregious examples of childhood sexual abuse enabled by institutions -- and where public pressure might help move forward help for adult victims -- in your community.
-
Apply pressure for fair and effective Statute of Limitation laws for adult victims. Work with us to put pressure on elected officials in your state to pass look-back laws for adult victims.
-
In Kentucky, reach out to the sponsors of Bills to assist victims of child sex abuse.
-
In Nebraska, reach out to the Judicial Committee of the Nebraska Legislature and voice your support for removing the existing time limitation on suing a private third party in cases of sexual assault of a child.
-
In New Mexico, reach out to the Legislature and voice your support for dropping the statute of limitations on sex crimes against children.
-
In Pennsylvania, write to Legislators currently considering Statute of
-
Limitations reform. Tell them how you feel about this issue and how
important it is to PA residents who were childhood victims.
Together we can bring to light egregious examples of childhood sexual abuse hidden and enabled by institutions and their leaders; and to seek legal avenues for adult victims to fight back.
We intend that our work will in some small way have positive impact on victims. And that it will work as a deterrent so institutions will see the long-term impact on them if they enable sexual abuse against children and young people.
